About: It's a fun day at the park for the kids in this illustration for the cover of Wonder Mag, an imaginary and very serious children's activity magazine that is this personal project!
For this illustration I wanted to explore a split complementary color scheme to give it the vibrance and energy kids have while playing and also add many characters and objects to make it double purpose: to serve as a cover and also as a beginners search and find scene.
The title's lettering was hand-made from a font and embelished with lineart similar to the characters' to best integrate them. The other graphic elements were embelished in the same way to achieve the same result.
